
The Dossier for the UNESCO ICH Pamagduman Nomination of Pampanga project is a pioneering project by the Department of Tourism, Region III, which intends to document the process and investigate the history of the pamagduman in Sta.Monica, Sta. Rita, and Pampanga. The project was awarded to Iconopixel Multimedia Production on December 1, 2022, with the expected submission of the materials on March 31, 2022.

Ruston Banal
Ruston is a graduate of the Art History program at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, with an undergraduate thesis about the history of Betis’ woodcarving tradition. As a government scholar, he completed his dual-degree postgraduate education at Miriam College and Goldsmiths, University of London, under a program called PG Cert and MA in Designing Education that focuses on design thinking. He advocates New Media Art and is working on the creation of curricula using traditional art and digital technologies.
Ruston, a visual anthropologist, had worked with some of the most renowned photographers in the world and attended workshops and had exhibitions in New York, London, and Paris.

Dr. Laya Boquiren-Gonzales
Dr. Laya Boquiren-Gonzales engages in research and interpretive projects on the interlinkages of tangible and intangible cultural heritage for sustainable development. She has a Doctor of Philosophy in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman Tricollege Program and has authored several books. Gonzales was the former Deputy Executive Director of the Nayong Pilipino Foundation and co-created its current programs and projects. In addition, Gonzales is a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites Philippines and represents the organization at the NEDA Stakeholders Chamber for the SDGs. She remains a member of the International Council of Museums and a Trustee of the Heritage Conservation Society. Gonzales was one of the 21 Fellows at the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property or ICCROM’s People-Centered Approaches to the Conservation of Nature and Culture World Heritage Leadership Program (2021). She was invited to the World Heritage Leadership Forum in Suwon, Korea, in October 2022. Lastly, Gonzales was selected for the Erasmus Mundus Short-Term Mobility Program at the Universidad de Córdoba in Spain (2023).

Guia Hasegawa Tolentino
Gia is a product of the University of the Philippines’ College of Fine Arts. As a Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator professional, she has played an important role in the company’s design and multimedia aspects. Gia is a conceptual photographer whose work is inspired by her own experiences and Japanese ancestry.
She was awarded the coveted International Photography Awards in 2017 for her pictures of the Sama Di Laut in Pampanga.
